Immunisation Coalition & Big Pharma’s Web Of Influence

There’s a huge web of pharma influence to be exposed.
Kim, I have previously contacted you re members of the industry-funded Immunisation Coalition.
Looking at the current list of members, no information is provided re these people’s affiliations, or their potential conflicts of interest: https://www.immunisationcoalition.org.au/about-us/ There is some brief information for the Board of Directors, e.g. Robert Booy, but this does not provide conflict of interest disclosure.
As it is my understanding that a number of these people may be influencing vaccination policy, I suggest it is essential that members of the Immunisation Coalition be open and transparent and disclose their affiliations and potential conflicts of interest.
An example is ‘Tone’ Bartone. Is this person Tony Bartone, President of the Australian Medical Association? This must be clarified.
The industry-funded Immunisation Coalition may be influential on matters of government vaccination policy, so it is important that this organisation and its leaders and members are transparent and accountable.
I request your response on this matter. See Immunisation Coalition membership list below.
Regards
Elizabeth Hart

Kim, this link provides information re the Corporations Act 2001 – Sect 177: http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/cth/consol_act/ca2001172/s177.html
Re “Use of information on registers” (1) notes: “An example of using information to send material to a person is putting a person’s name and address on a mailing list for advertising material.”
Kim, my interest in members of the Influenza Specialist Group/Immunisation Coalition is in regards to whether they might be in positions influential on vaccination policy, as I have previously described. I am not planning to forward ‘advertising material’ to your members… However, I might contact them in regards to matters relevant to vaccination policy.
If people involved with the industry-associated Influenza Specialist Group/Immunisation Coalition are influential on vaccination policy, this should be transparent and accessible to the public, i.e. it should already be disclosed.
Again, is the membership of the Influenza Specialist Group (soon to be Immunisation Coalition) openly accessible to the public or not? Obviously I am interested to know if people influential on vaccination policy have ever been associated with this group.

Dear Elizabeth
I apologise in the slowness of my reply. As you know, we are in the midst of transforming into the Immunisation Coalition, a task which is keeping all of us very busy. The new website (which has only just gone live, and which we are still populating with information) will address some of your concerns by listing the members of our committees (http://www.immunisationcoalition.org.au/about-us/). The Directors and committee members are all members of the Immunisation Coalition (formerly the ISG), and represent the most active members of our organisation. We do expect that over time, all members will be listed – we are presently seeking permission from each to enable publishing of the same.
In answer to your 2 questions:
- The Corporations Act states that a request can be denied if it is for an improper purpose. What constitutes an improper (or proper) purpose is also open to interpretation. The Act has been created with shareholders in mind, but as we are a company limited by guarantee, it applies to us also. Section 177(1) prohibits using any information obtained from a register inspection or copy to contact or send material to a person. Hence our concern for the privacy of our members, and my question as to sharing information with a third party.
- Yes, in as much as our register of members is available for inspection subject to the caveats of 1 above.
Kind regards
Kim Sampson

Kim, as I mentioned in my previous email, I’m interested to know if members of the industry-funded ISG are in a position to influence vaccination policy. If they are, they should be disclosing this conflict of interest publicly.
In regards to accessing ISG membership information, I don’t understand what you mean by ‘proper purpose’?
Is the membership of the Influenza Specialist Group, (soon to be the Immunisation Coalition), openly accessible or not?

Dear Elizabeth
We have yet to receive a response to our email of 20 April regarding the manner in which you propose to use the register of members and whether you intend to distribute this to any 3rd party by any means.
Can you please advise whether you wish to proceed with your request and, if you do, please provide the details requested in order that we can assess whether your request meets the purpose of a ‘proper purpose’ according to the relevant definitions.
Kind regards
Kim

Taxpayer Funded Vaccinations:-
Roughly how much Australian Taxpayer money is spent on vaccinating the Australian population each year ??
What about the advertising BILL ??
* ABC News – Budget 2015 – Child Vaccination Rates Focus of $26 million Federal Budget Package.
What about the rest … it has to be in the billions.
In any argument it is most enlightening & helps the argument enormously if one quotes MONEY / HOW MUCH IT COSTS IN REAL DOLLAR TERMS.
Money & the squandering of it is a thorn in everyone’s side more than any other festering pus filled abscess.
“Global Market Expected To Exceed – US $77.5 billion by 2024.”
I suspect that the Expected Global Vaccine Market will go the way of MONSANTO.
That BigPharma will run away & hide from its compensation payout demande –
That BigPharma will run away & hide from its illegal activities accusations –
That BigPharma will run away & hide from its negligence & malpractice accusations-
WHY ??
Because – the bottom line – it means jail time.
Just like the INVINCABLE MONSANTO THE GREAT –
GlaxcoSmithKline financial history for the last 15 years reads loss after loss, after failure, after loss.
It is prudent to ask – where is the money coming from to prop up this failed pharmaceutical company ??
Is the Australian government in collusion with other governments around the world – giving over Hard Earned Australian Taxpayer Dollars to keep the antiquated oracle of medical ancient history alive when it should be dead & buried ??
And …….
Not only has BigPharma Failed
MONSANTO failed
BUT – SO HAS MAINSTREAM MEDIA.
In Australia it is the Australian governments that are pushing work in their direction to be paid for Hard Earned Taxpayer Dollars.
It’s like each Australian has a personal money tree growing up their backside – hey !!
