The constitution is being upheld regarding foreign parliamentary members, even to Josh Friedenburg, whose mother is a Hungarian jew. Friedenburg therefore has right of return and is a Israeli citizen, as is Turnbull, whose first allegiance would be to Israel.
Is Israel a foreign state or is Australia, but a colony of Israel for the constitution to not apply? Where would George Brandis status be on this issue?
