Pfizer has announced a major upgrade to its manufacturing facility in Melbourne, now making it “one of Australia’s most advanced pharmaceutical production hubs”

PFIZER PLANT UPGRADE

Pfizer has announced it will invest $150 million to upgrade “precision medicines” at its Melbourne production facility, including more use of robotics and artificial intelligence, to “produce new treatments for patients in hospitals with severe infections”.

The newly-enhanced site will become “one of Australia’s most advanced pharmaceutical production hubs”, “supporting worldwide operations” and “creating an additional 500 jobs”.

The investment milestone was announced on Tuesday at the site in east Melbourne, with Industry and Science Minister, Ed Husic, declaring it “…an important step in the government’s push to revive Australian manufacturing”.

They kill of manufacturing with sell-out agreements like the Lima Declaration, and now Pfizer if the saviour? What a comical joke.

The latest additions to the facility will be two freeze-drying machines, known as Lyophilisers, which are used in the anti-microbial manufacturing process. The upgraded site will also trial AI technology to optimise production processes.

According to the company, the upgrades will be operational by next year and at commercial manufacture in 2026, with a focus on manufacturing anti-microbials.

“A key strategic pillar of Pfizer’s product innovation work is our effort to help slow the spread of antimicrobial resistance, one of the biggest global health threats of our time,” Pfizer Australia Managing Director Anne Harris said.

The Mulgrave site is already producing and exporting medicines like cancer treatments, anaesthetics and anti-inflammatories to 60 countries, treating 15 million patients a year.

“The life-saving medicines manufactured in Melbourne are shipped all over the world, helping millions of people each year,” Husic said.

Husic recently played a hand in launching an “RNA blueprint” to ‘grow the local sector’, and his department has also developed a medical science co-investment plan to guide the government’s $1.5 billion medical manufacturing fund for “innovative therapeutics”.

Pfizer has been making heavy investments into Australia over the past few years, including the acquisition of companies that already exist in the domestic market.

This is because the Australian market is ‘hot’, as they say. So much so that Moderna also moved into Melbourne to build a state-of-the-art facility alongside their consumer rival.

But this new ‘health scare’ isn’t a ‘new COVID variant’.

Anti-microbial resistance (AMR), more commonly known as ‘superbugs’, are reportedly a ‘growing public health concern’, because ‘resistance makes infections harder to treat’.

10 million people will die from AMR by 2050 without intervention, according to the World Health Organisation, and Australia is right in the midst of a scare campaign at present.

‘Superbugs’ are ‘coming to get us all’, apparently. And only jabs can ‘save us’.

THE ‘SUPERBUG THREAT’

CSIRO has recently warned Aussies that superbugs are “one of the greatest threats facing humanity”, and Australia is at the frontline as one of the largest consumers of antibiotics.

The science agency has made AMR one of its new biopharma missions, and warns new drugs alone ‘will not be enough’ as ‘more resistance is built up over time’.

Authorities say they are testing for “dangerous antimicrobial resistant bacteria” in chicken, pork and beef from Australian supermarkets, amid concerns on the “spread of the bugs in the food supply”.

It comes as some have warned the secrecy over antibiotic usage on Australian farms risks damaging our international standing, as key trading partners drastically curb their own usage of the drugs.

They say we are heading into a ‘post-antibiotic era‘, where infections could ‘once again be deadly’.

Other journals have also concurred this is a massive danger to our society.

Just like we have seen time-and-time again, ‘experts’ are now racing to get a vaccine developed to combat this ’emerging worldwide threat’, raising even more red flags.

An experimental vaccine for superbugs has been invented by a USC-led team, and patented by the university, ‘designing a formula to prevent serious infections from drug-resistant pathogens’.

The new study showed that a single dose of the vaccine, administered to different mouse infection models, put immune cells in what the team describes as “Incredible Hulk” mode, “…providing rapid protection against eight different species of bacteria and fungi”.

The team reported positive data from preclinical in-vivo studies evaluating an experimental protein-free vaccine that is designed to “…protect patients from potentially lethal drug-resistant superbugs in hospital and healthcare settings”.

Yes, ‘Incredible Hulk-mode’..

Absolute clown show.

Think that’s bad?

Take a look at what the Chief Medical Officer at USC had to say about the developments:

The vaccine is ‘like a Homeland Security terror alert’.

You can’t even make this stuff up.

The pandemic stimulated unprecedented innovation in vaccine development, where federal funding and university-industry partnerships were game changers for translating promising discoveries from academic labs for the good of all,” said Ishwar K. Puri, senior vice president of research and innovation at USC.

He continued: “We are both pleased and proud of the critical support the USC Stevens Center provided to enable the development of ExBaq’s experimental vaccine that protects vulnerable populations from serious infections.”

Pfizer is losing all the money they made during the COVID ‘pandemic’ and now they want it all back, and so do the ‘beneficiaries’ of their profit, the bought-and-paid-for politicians, CSIRO, TGA and others.

It’s time to ramp up the fear campaign once again!

Problem, reaction, solution: One of the oldest tricks in the playbook.

Maybe this time, if they do get their vaccine to market, they might start to pay their employees properly..

Is Pfizer really upgrading their facility because they ‘want to help’?

Or is this the same old show once again, as I suspect?
