The Labor Green plan can’t keep the lights on!

We are sleepwalking off a cliff when it comes to our country’s energy security.

As many Australians shiver through the winter, they are rightly asking where the promised drop in electricity bills is.

Well, it’s not coming anytime soon.

That ‘promise’ was bullshit from Labor, and they knew it.

And as predicted, the renewable fantasy is falling over right in front of our eyes.

“The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) noted low wind…meant decreases in electricity supplied from wind (-20 per cent).. while gas (+16 per cent) and black coal (+7 per cent) rose.”

So to be clear – we have spent and continue to spend billions ripping up the countryside for this renewable fantasy, ignoring the reality that when the wind stops blowing, we use gas and coal anyway. Same for when the sun stops shining.

Unbelievable.

This, while more and more countries are keeping the lights on with nuclear technology providing safe, clean, and cheap power 24/7.

Time to stop sleepwalking. Time to wake up.

The election is coming; and we are at a crossroad with an opportunity for Australia to choose safe, clean, cheap nuclear technology or continue down the costly and unreliable renewables path that is destroying our countryside.

Seems like a simple one to me.
