The Power of Faith & Prayer & Miracles:
I was 8.
As a young woman during WW2, my mother had done some nursing.
We lived in Lygon St Carlton Nth.
Across the road & a few door up live Mr. & Mrs. Grotski.
Mr. Grotski owned a knitwear factory.
Mrs. Grotski had suffered a stroke & was paralyzed.
Mr. Grotski hired my mother to help take care of his invalide wife.
Mum massaged her useless limbs every day with Deep Heat Rub, among other necessary duties.
A Rabbi would come to the house once a month, summoned by Mr. Grotski, to bless his wife & pray for her recovery.
Time passed.
One evening there was a knock at our door.
My father answered.
It was Mrs. Grotski.
Not knowing where else to go, she came to us for help.
Mr. Grotski had dropped dead right before her eyes.
And in the same instance, she was cured.
Of course my father & mother immediately went to the house to see what had happened & how they could help & my father called the police.
