John Travolta and the ‘Homosexual Jewish Mafia’ in Hollywood
It was recently brought to my attention that in 2012 the famous actor and scientologist John Travolta got into bit of trouble with the media when it emerged during a law suit that:
‘In the suit, the masseur claimed that Travolta touched his penis during the massage session, masturbated in front of him, and then requested to give the masseur a handjob. When the masseur refused, according to the suit, “Defendant began screaming at Plaintiff, telling Plaintiff how selfish he was; that Defendant got to where he is now due to sexual favors he had performed when he was in his Welcome Back, Kotter days; and that Hollywood is controlled by homosexual Jewish men who expect favors in return for sexual activity. Defendant then went on to say how he had done things in his past that would make most people throw up.”’ (1)
The actor however ‘denied the veracity of the masseuse’s claims. He said he was on the East Coast at the time in question and that the lawsuit “is a complete fiction and fabrication. None of the events claimed in the suit ever occurred.”’ (2)
The fact that two male masseurs who were independently suing Travolta said more or less the same thing however necessarily suggested there was something to the claims despite the fact that they were mysteriously dropped subsequently. (3)
However Rachel Shukert writing at the time in ‘Tablet Magazine’ admitted that what Travolta said was factual when she wrote that:
‘It may surprise you (although probably not) to hear that I have no quarrel with the airing of the trope that Jews are prominent, even dominant, in the movie industry. The reason for this is that it’s true, and saying it aloud no more makes John Travolta a Jew-hater than asserting that there are a lot of, say, African-American hip-hop artists makes one a racist. It’s not anti-Semitic to make a statement of fact; it’s anti-Semitic to imply that there’s something wrong with it. The real question raised by this statement is the linking of “homosexual,” a descriptor that is relevant to the particulars of the accusation at hand, with “Jewish,” which is not.’ (4)
What Shukert took issue with was not Travolta’s suggestion that the jews run Hollywood or that vulnerable people are sexually abused within that framework, but rather that the ‘gay men’ are ‘automatically jewish’.
The revelations about the routine sexual exploitation and rape of women as well as men that formed the fuel in the Harvey Weinstein scandal (5) as well as the fact that there is ample evidence that paedophiles and child molesters operate with relative impunity in Hollywood. (6)
All this goes to suggest that the masseur’s claim that Travolta ranted about being abused by ‘homosexual jewish men’in Hollywood while he was at the bottom of the proverbial totem pole is not the fabrication that Travolta desperately made it out to be, but rather is a reflection of Travolta’s deeply scarred psyche resulting from being degraded and raped by ‘homosexual jewish men’.
