As Murdoch owns about 70% of our media, people have been weaned on his shit their whole lives. I see people carrying around the Telegraph like they are holding & preaching from a bible, it’s incredible. You can read hundreds of idiotic & pathetic comments in the comments sections of the Murdoch newspapers, online. The Presstitutes that work for the Murdoch media cannot be reasoned with & continue to arrogantly preach utter rubbish & propaganda. I work with people who read this stuff religiously & im constantly listening in to conversations & what people are saying in regards to whats being printed in those shit papers. Iv had over 100 shares already on facebook for this Boycott with hundreds of comments & people committing so it will have an effect on their bottom line. It’s amazing how many people not only read these papers but will viciously defend the crap that pours out of them to the point where they will get nasty with you.
Murdoch doesn’t make his money from selling papers he makes his money by the influence his media outlets have over a gullible public. So campaigns to boycott are excellent – and extend it to advertisers – as it makes people understand that they are not reading news but propaganda.
Mainstream Media is a losing business venture – it is to expensive to run & make profit as well.
With the gusto of privatisation why has the ABC of Australia not been sold off ?
They are being funded to the tune of several billions of dollars & SBS is in the same position
